What is modern conservatism? How about defining your use of labels.
What is a 1990 democrat?
What is a Reagan conservative and how does it differ from America First or MAGA?
I think my fundamental beliefs are consistent from 1980 to today. Am I happy with everything? Absolutely not, but it has never been a question relative to what the democrats have been doing and saying for the entire time. It’s not even close.
A lot of people are unfortunately ignorant of policies and focus more on feelings and personality. Like boxers vs. briefs? Saxophone playing president. Smoked but didn’t inhale. Same with Obama. Too much to go into.
There’s been a void for many years. Trump thank God has filled it, again. Will it be sustainable? With this group of republicans and media, unlikely. But he certainly is working his tail off to make it so and I thank him for it.

It's all hammerhead who want to be entertained......reminds me of freshmen and sophomores in high school. Except these fools can vote....and drive.

This is great. There is no place in the movement for the neocon war hawks like Ben Shapiro.
I’ve listened to Ben for years, and I’m often surprised by the intensity of people’s reactions to him. I don’t recall him ever calling for U.S. troops to defend Israel. What he consistently argues is that Israel has the right to act in its own defense, which is clearly different from advocating direct American military involvement. I also listened to his TPUSA speech and didn’t find his argument unreasonable or out of bounds. The political right has a serious problem with conspiracy theory thinking, and it’s going to cost us.

There are people on here that hate Trump.
I guess they have more in common with Ben than they want to admit.

I view Bannon and Shapiro the same, they’re both grifters who have nothing to do with maga.

Ben's the OG Never Trumper. He's was NEVER MAGA. He was one of the first Desantis supporters. He is an Israeli neocon Warhawk which is everything MAGA STOOD AGAINST.
frick you with your revisionist history or ignorance to the subject that is Ben fricking Shapiro.
Go start MIGA and quit trying to fracture our movement. Nobody in MAGA likes Ben fricking Shapiro.

Except one literally was in MAGA day 1, part of his first campaign and cabinet, and paid the price of prison for it.

No one is denying this.
He’s also not a retard. He knows that the other option was Joe Biden, Then Harris. That’s why he was more supportive of Trump in 20 and 24.

And he will support Rubio or Cruz next. What's your point? He's never been MAGA until it was convenient for him.
At least never MAGA during the tough times.

If your fundamentals have been consistent for 45 years, then you would agree that the socialist economic moves by Trump like Intel, US Steel, etc are not exactly Reagan Conservatism.
Reagan would be aghast at this as would Goldwater....but "conservatives" of the MAGA stripe are cheering this on.
Also Reagan would not even talk about selling out allies if they don't bend to his whim like Trump does ....regularly.
