where can you find this? You also need some fat to bind it.

Idk about fast food restaurants but this is an easy weeknight meal in my house.

Maybe try hamburger/Salisbury steak options at a restaurant??

The fries are still pre cooked in seed oils before the tallow.

I saw the same report, precooked in seed oils, shipped to the restaurants and then fried in tallow.

Maybe they're going to change the precook process too.

Fries are great. I love me some french fries. However, eating them regularly along with all of the other unhealthy choices that go along with it will cause metabolic issues which will make you unhealthy, and your body will become a fat making machine.
And that is undisputed fact.

I like they they were called Nazi's by the crazies for moving to Tallow:

quote:

Most controversially, Steak ‘n Shake’s original X post about the new “Throwback Fries” on March 5 featured an “Old English”-style typographical font, which social media users were quick to compare to the infamous Fraktur font that was used in German Nazi propaganda.

That can't be bad. Butter and tallow, two delicious cooking accoutrements.

I’m going to have start experimenting with butter deep fried in beef tallow.

The Texas State Fair beckons.

Not nearly as much fast food was consumed in the 1970s.
I was there and I remember it well.

Yes, I read that the other day. The company needs to be more transparent about this. It's a big hit to their credibility when we find out that there is still seed oils in the fries.

When I moved to FL, Steak and Shake became my goto for almost 20 years for great burgers.

Then they fell off a cliff, struggled for several years but recently they have found their way and the past 2 years they have been great again.

They just keep making all the right moves.

People ate fries in the 1950's, 1960's, and the 1970's, too. Fries don't make you fat, too many fries make you fat. This country has gone off the deep end of gluttony in so many aspects of life, this being just one of them.

Burger and fries is still burger and fries though. We will remain fat.

Why weren't we fat in the 70s and 80s despite eating burgers and fries?
