I remember reading that Dolly Parton was asked why she never commented on political issues.Her response was that she was an entertainer,why would she want to piss off 1/2 her fans.

And I’ll respond seriously this time, I believe the difference between the Florida/Desantis instance and most of the others, including those you mentioned, is that none of those situations involve the perfect storm of Desantis being who he is and a cooperative Republican majority legislature behind him. None of the other examples mentioned in the article have anywhere near that situation, thus they don’t have quite the concern of them being publicly spanked like Disney did.

I really wish every company abided by a no politics policy. But too many feel they have to choose the left’s side because they stand to lose more if they say nothing. Sadly, conservatives still patronize a lot of these companies.
