Statement from the DA:

"The state attorney’s office said the surveillance video did not establish that Payne “was in the right.” But prosecutors concluded they could not prove by clear and convincing evidence that Payne did not reasonably fear imminent death or great bodily harm."

Looks like Harold F. Pryor is the DA

Harold F. Pryor was elected Broward State Attorney (Florida’s 17th Judicial Circuit) in November 2020. He leads a staff of 462 employees, including 213 prosecutors, whose mission is to make our community safer while working to ensure justice, equity and fairness for everyone affected by our criminal justice system. He is the first Black state attorney in Broward and the first Black man to be elected state attorney in Florida.

She even made advances walking toward him with the gun when he was walking away, that is not behavior of a person fearing for their life, that is being the aggressor. And by the way this one sided news story left that part out.

She even taunted him after she shot him as he was on the ground bleeding out dying.

Cold blooded murder.

None of the clips I have seen have audio worth a damn.
Cannot hear anything she's saying, cannot hear anything he's saying.
This matters. Substantially.

Any self defense instructor worth a salt will tell you that as a carrier, you do NOT escalate a situation. Whether physically or verbally, you don't provoke the other party.

Without knowing what's being said, I'm neutral. I can and could point out mistakes on both sides, but again, neutral.

My advice tho is do not be this guy. The muzzies will soon start pulling this kind of antagonism, and it will be one of those half dozen Rugrats that puts holes in you while you argue with the sow.

They scare the shite out of me.

They should. 60% of the time black women get worse by weight.
Seems like every 5 pounds adds more attitude to the bad ones.

He absolutely did. If someone has pulled a pistol and has told you to back off, you had best listen. The guy was fricking stupid to continue pursuing her. She was walking away.

Pretty much anytime a gun comes out turn the mouth off, turn the brain on, and start weighing how to handle the situation.

The statements from her that were reported only said he threatened to damage her car but didn`t even do it.

I have not seen any reporting that she said he even verbally threatened to physically harm her.

All that would be he said she said or should I said only she said because the other side of the story id dead.

Cold blooded murder by a woman with no impulse control.

Can you spot the difference in why there will not be the same outcry as there was with George Zimmerman?

Well, since we’re not a bunch of feral foxtrot Novembers, we won’t be burning down Wendy’s or looting CVS/Autozone.

This is frickin stupid.

The cops determined that she was being pursued by someone who was clearly threatening her. You don't need to hear what was said to SEE that the woman was gesturing for the man to walk the other way while she repeatedly tried to walk away from him. He kept pursuing her anyways and got shot for it like a fricking dumbass.

Yeah, as I said, I really could point out mistakes made on both sides. As far as tesimonies go, I never 100% believe what is told to cops, for reasons that are self explanatory.
Same with eye witness testimony. Good and bad guy are pre-concieved before the cops even arrive, and the stories told will be reflect that.
I have seen no video of what led up to this, which is why I am remaining neutral.

All that I am going to say regarding Ms. Payne is that I am extremely jealous of the fortune that she has had in avoiding consequences for not fulfilling obligations to the courts.

But that opinion has no bearing on whether this was a righteous shoot or not.

Based on the facts it is a good shoot.

Dude was being aggressive.

The 5 elements for a legal defense of self defense were met.

what was the confrontation about???

I guarantee that if the races were reversed, we'd have riots - based on that video alone.

It's too bad that you're as dumb as he was.

Have you personally ever been in a life or death confrontation like this?

I don't think so.

I was a half of a second from killing a lunatic at a gas station in Amarillo at 3am.

He never verbally threatened to physically harm me.

It would take your level of stupidity to think he wouldn't.

Oh, he was crazy, but smart enough to turn and scram when he saw a pistol.

One at a gas station in Arizona and one at a pay phone on Plank rd. in Baton Rouge. So your wrong about that.

I personally would have never reacted the way he did but there were no grounds for self defense, even the DA admitted that as you can see in the above quote

Someone points a gun at you and tells you to stop.

You stop. You don't continue to display hostility and walk towards the person holding the gun.

BS….stay in your car and park elsewhere. Don’t track for trouble causing a road rage incident.

Get over yourself. He lost the parking spot and paid for by being a dickhead confronting her face to face. She brought a gun to a fist fight.

Now he resides in a box six feet under.

So they could not prove that she was guilty and declined to prosecute. Everything else is garbage.

It's justified homicide.
