587 to be exact. It’s public record. Falconer is a do-nothing, self-serving career politician.

He talks about smart development at every public forum, and is running on a platform of increased funding for infrastructure and flood-reduction.

Then you got a mailer full of false information. And if you’re not going to vote for someone with a DUI on their record, then you’ll never cast another vote in Louisiana as long as you live. Get over the personal attacks and vote on record like the rest of the adults.

Crain is a fricking embarrassment and should NEVER be allowed to sniff the Supreme Court. I beg you to do some basic research on this imbecile because if you do you’ll never vote for him. .

I normally don't comment on threads about localities that I don't live in but this is just dumb.

There is only one candidate in that Supreme Court race that has no business winning and his name is Hans Liljeberg. He's a puppet for the trial lawyers seeking a majority on the state supreme court to be able force up big paydays from oil and gas through their lawsuits and Hans is their last piece for that majority.

Pieces of shite like John Carmouche and Gladstone Jones already donated a lot of big time money through their pacs to Hans to heavily fund his campaign. Hans was a late entry during the qualifying period.

Vote for Will Crain or Scott Schlegel, avoid Hans Liljeberg at all costs.

Well you ought to pass along to him that he should take up the cause for more responsible development and flood mitigation.

This is actually something that McMath has advocated for in Covington. Larger retention areas for new developments (at a cost to developers like him), drainage studies required for all new developments, de-bottlenecking the bogue falaya by removing debris. What he noticed though is that there was so much red tape above him that his hands were tied on a lot of these things; hence, now running for senate

One thing I’ve noticed and been frustrated by as an engineer, politicians have no clue about infrastructure (not that it takes an engineer to see this). I would prefer to have someone who has hired engineers to develop drainage plans than have a career politician fumble through ideas, with no real knowledge about the underlying problem

Is it a “shill” thread bc you don’t like the opinions of Northshore voters who are new to TD? Seems like it was a Falconer “shill” thread before we got here.

Like I’ve said, I like McMath but seems like he has some bad voices in his ear. He’s not ready for this office yet and his decision to go personal against Falconer was also ill-advised. I hope he comes out still on good standing for future runs but this was a bad move all around.

It’s a shill thread because you’ve created 3 different t accounts YESTERDAY and spamming the board with multiple posts in a row.

Don’t be so obvious.

Schlegel has not even completed a full term at the DISTRICT court level, having won an election to fill a partial term and present term doesn’t end until December 31, 2020. The ego on this guy running for Supreme Court with Zero appellate court judicial experience and not even a full term at the district court level.

Also if campaign contributions is an issue, Schlegel’s contribution report reads like a Who’s Who of car wreck plaintiff attorneys for tens of thousands of dollars, including some nefarious types.

You’ve still refused to provide even bare innuendo about the very serious charges you’ve made against Crain. You are obviously full of shite.

Do you mean like Falconer who was the frontman for one of the biggest developers in the Gulf South, Darryl Berger? Get your facts straight and check out the secretary of state website. You will find three pages of business filings by Reid that are all development companies.

This is utterly idiotic on so many different levels.

I’m certainly not married to Falconer and I like McMath, but I hate lies. You (and all 3 of your alters) better take your bullshite somewhere else or you’re going to force me to put truth to your garbage lies and in doing so, defend one and attack the other.

No, it's a shill thread because the three of you show up at the same time pumping the same candidate. That's a stupid move and easily recognized for what it is. Are you all three posters or are yall sitting next to each other as you post for your campaign?

Are y’all saying something was done to make this area more flood-prone or it’s just developers getting away with developing an area that floods because money in politics?

Both, but mainly the latter. The Tantella Ranch area is very low and has always been subject to flooding, but the parish allowed this land to be developed anyway. You should have seen those houses in 2016. Where are you looking?
