That’s the difference. I admitted it.
You’ve had at least 20 people answer that question in this thread.

They aren't just going to lay down and call their insurance company. It's worth it to them.
YES! They made the decisions that they were willing to risk the repercussions that they KNEW were coming.
Your point?
*I know you are just enjoying being a pedantic frickstick as usual with "repercussions" game.

Regardless if the gate was open or closed, with that sign, they are trespassing if they enter the property without invitation...
Are you going to contend that private property no longer exists in this country now?

Portland doesn’t even intersect Lindell.

Your point?
The homeowners PROBABLY will not face legal repercussions (even though the Castle Doctrine PROBABLY does not apply), but they CLEARLY should have known that they would be facing social repercussions.
I see nothing pedantic about examining the two issues separately, despite the fact that they share a common set of underlying facts.

Did I say it didn't? I have asked specifically and several times, to know what McCloskey's ownership control of the street is to know whether castle doctrine applies to their defense of this investigation, and have received not one answer

808 where is this off Kings? Is it towards Barnes-Jewish or the other side?

Forest Park side, north of the park between Union and Kingshighway.

I asked if the protestors ever touched property owned by McCloskey. Castle doctrine only applies to your property. Does he have ownership interest in the street, or were they in his yard? nobody has even answered these in this thread that I have seen
So you wait until they start throwing down? By then you are certain of a violent outcome. How far it goes? Who knows? Could be just damage to the yard but also could be dead and injured people and a home burned to the ground.
I think what the couple did is an excellent example of peace by show of force. It acted as an absolute deterrent in this case to de-escalate a possible violent outcome.

control of the street
IT is a private, posted, restricted access street... McCloskey had a right to be there, the mob did not...
The mob was standing in his yard at one point...
Jesus, you are a fricking moron...

Over by the Highlands? Isn't that the name of that Country Club or am I too far East?
Oh and thanks for the info.

Highlands is one of the courses in the park, on the east side of the park. This would be pretty much directly north of the course.

Here’s the gate on Lake into Portland place.
