Let a bunch of white people with Red hats march through Scotlandville and see what happens. Then compare and contrast.

And btw, from my view here in Louisiana, it's pathetic how Missouri republicans just abandoned Greitens and fed him to the wolves like self righteous fools only to discover later they were conned and conned hard.

They didn’t abandon him. They were never with him. They likely participated at the highest levels in the con game to force his resignation.

Given the context of the situation, it’s unreal that this was said by a DA in America.

This is the same DA that released everyone arrested for rioting the same week some cops got shot during the "peaceful" protests.

Wouldn't it be great if the saga of Bonnie & Clyde 2.0 helped wake up white people who are Center-Left, much like the two people who find themselves in the crosshairs as a result of this situation?

"This is all private property,” said Mark McCloskey to KMOV. “There are no public sidewalks or public streets. We were told that we would be killed, our home burned and our dog killed. We were all alone facing an angry mob.”

Those folks you saw on that private street / private sidewalk tore down a gate to get there, and threatened McCloskey and other residents.

Were they intruding on the person's private property? were they in the yard/driveway, etc?

I honestly don't know

They were on a private street owned by the neighborhood and broke a gate to gain access.

Clear cut breaking and entering.

You can't swing a pistol around with your finger on the trigger at people 25-30 yards from you and not expect repercussions, no matter if they tore down your gate or not

You got 35 down votes so far, but anyone who understands and promotes gun safety can see they're both fricking idiots who have never held a gun before.

Trigger discipline is the first thing you should learn.

Also, the headline simply says they're under investigation. Let's wait and see what charges if any are brought before we all lose our minds.

They had the right to those guns and they had the right to defend their property from dangerous rioters breaking and entering.

Can we all also agree they need lessons in gun safety and control?

As soon as they broke down the gate and entered the street, they were on private property.

frick off. There’s no “once you learn gun safety” addendum to the 2nd amendment.

If that's true, I hope Greitens goes scorched Earth on them and steals Blunt's senate seat in the 2022 primary.

He deserves to get the last word in on those miscreants.

I didn't research it much. I saw people standing in a street, a woman waving a pistol around with her finger on the trigger, and nobody within 20 yards of her

sit on porch with guns out but don't point at anyone in the street, and this is a non-legal issue

The home is on a private street, that has always been a private street, meaning it is owned by the homeowner. The "protesters" had to break through an iron gate, set in a stone entrance, that restricts entry to the neighborhood. There are signs saying it is a private street and not open to the public.

There is no public easement for either the street or sidewalk. The first foot they set down inside that gate was on private property.

*All of this has already been discussed.

These two are both rich lawyers. They will game the system to its fullest and will not do time. At worst, they might have to put out a gay apology. By the way, they are also BLM-supporting civil rights attorneys who are representing some victim of police violence. Amazing to see lefties turn during the brief moment they were threatened.

I get the sentiment- but if they aren’t safe, your arse certainly isn’t.

I didn't say there was.

They didn't appear to do anything legally wrong in that video.

But they are obnoxiously ignorant gun owners.
