finally someone gets to the heart of this.

Don't SS agents train 24/7 with firearms? If not why not? I expect them to be deadly at any range.

Didn't Reagans SS detail have mach10s or uzis under their vests??

What the hell happened to the SS

In his press conference, DeSantis noted that he had played the course with Trump before. DeSantis said that he had thought the spot where Routh was made the ideal place for a would-be assassin.

so the 10' revelation means the lead SS team on the hole ahead was walking the tree/Brush line when he noticed the potential shooter.......

Yes. That's my understanding. Evidently the Routh couldn't see the SS agent approaching from the side.

As was demonstrated, you don’t need to hit your target in order to disrupt the attempted assassination

I hear ya, and it's hard to know how anyone would react or how accurate they'd shoot with their adrenaline pumping. Then again, I don't know what cover the SS agent could have sought on a golf course. The agent should have jumped the fence and pursued, maybe they did.... We don't know.

And don't ask me if I would have pursued the person in a wooded area, I'm not a highly trained SS agent. Maybe that SS agent wasn't either.

Thanks for posting this.

I watched the video. Too bad this detail came at the end of the discussion without any follow-up from Laura. If true, this is a HUGE discrepancy from the official story. It's always been reported that the SS saw the barrel and took the shots from "300 yards away."

Do we even know WHAT the agent was shooting at? Did he/she just shoot at the barrel? Was Routh even on the gun or did he just have it set up?

hmm - could be this - I had not thought this trhu - always figured the SS was 30-40 yards away.

But the shooter would have obviously seen the SS getting close and slinked back into the shrubbery.

10 ft is embarrassing anyway you slice it. These are supposed to be leo at the top of there game and are trained repeatedly on this type of engagement.. that’s 3 yds .. it’s expected that you’d have rounds on target even in a retreating scenario

Let’s be glad that he didn’t actually. We need these scumbags captured alive to violently question them.
