It is important to understand that the Squad supports terrorists as a counterbalance to capitalism. Not because of fiscal sanity (they have none). Nor are they America firsters or even non-interventionists.

They don’t want to. They don’t have the money or the manpower for it.
Israel’s strategy is to push the Palestinians out of their communities and into little preselected and densely populated cantons. More people on less land. This makes room for Jewish settlers in the formerly Palestinian lands, and allows Israel to expand its borders.
The downside is that you’ve now got tens of thousands of very angry people, locked up in these open air prisons. The Israelis are okay with that.
