on revenue of 18.7 billion in revenue almost all which was generated by government contracts. it is expected to have a market cap after it's ipo of 1.77 trillion.

by comparison boeing who actually just sent men to the moon, has a market cap of 172 billion, on revenue 89.5 billion, operating income of 4.28 billion with net income of 2.24 billion.

anyone buying spacex is essentially buying the equity version of a scratch off ticket.

Buy it on the big dip that will happen after the IPO release then sit back. It's a long term buy.

It's an area that I don't understand. So I'll be abstaining from investing. Best of luck though to those who do. Sounds like it could be a big windfall.

Put in for 100 shares and only got 11. I'm happy!

Ehhhhhhhhh ... probably not the best analogy you could have chosen.

I mean, I'm old enough to remember when Apple and Microsoft were poo poo'd by the naysayers.

"Why in the world would anyone need a computer on their desk?"

At the same time, war and space have led to more innovation that benefits all of humanity, in every aspect of life, than any other motivations in recorded history on this planet.

I requested 100 shares and was given 13. I’m actually surprised I got any at IPO.

I wish I had waited for your advice instead*

These 2 comments can be true at the same time:

SpaceX is overvalued today

SpaceX has a much brighter future than Boeing

The xAI portion of SpaceX is worth more than Boeing right now validly.

That's not going to happen any time soon with this one.

Will there be some immediate profit taking this month ... yeah, but the chances of any of us getting in on the dip are far less than those of us that got in on the IPO.

The the government is one fifth of their $18.7b revenue. Please go back into your hole.

There are companies with a multi billion dollar market cap that have never been in the black.

This is generally a solid IPO investment strategy. I get all the alerts from Fidelity for upcoming IPOs and I generally let the sharks feed first.

Funny thing is if it weren't for Elon Americans would still be catching rides from the Russians into space.

If they even had the vision to go to space anymore.

They've sent up 4 rockets into space just this week alone. Unbelievable potential in space and such a huge lead over any other competitor or country. Optimism is warranted.
