If the Boers/Afrikaans feel like they have nothing to lose, they will start shite and it will get messy. The only thing stopping them currently is that the Zulu don't necessarily like the ANC and try to block them.

If the Federal Government in the U.S. were to nationalize the oil & gas industry, like Alexandria Cortez, Maxine Waters and Bernie Sanders wish, do you think they would adhere to the Accommodation Doctrine with surface owners, even those who have farming tenants?
Hell no. They won't negotiate like oil & gas companies currently in the U.S. do. They'll just bring in the authorities with guns and tell you what you can and can't do with that piece of land they need. Oh...and they'll take a hell of alot more land than what is really needed.
