That^. It's not new, they've been doing it all along. Plausible deniability. If they are criticized, they have something to point to that didn't slander whatever topic they are establishing the deniability for.

I'm a conservative and even I roll my eyes at Fox News sometimes. I feel like the news has become like First Take on ESPN. It's all about headline grabs and hot takes.

I agree with that. I do not watch any of the above mentioned networks except FOX News and FOX Business News and OAN.
FOX claims fair and balanced, to a great extent they are. You just have to ferret out the truth, as you believe it to be.
