How old is Petty?
He looks like a skeleton with fake leather upholstered on it.

it's not that people don't think the act is horrible. it is. it's just that this has happened before and turned out to be false or done by somebody we didn't expect (a racist person.)

And here is the problem. This man is offended that people might think this is a staged event, because they have seen this play out before. Don’t be offended, let the facts play out before letting your emotions take over.
If he “doesn’t have a lot of answers at the moment,” he doesn’t know wtf happened and it is just as likely planted as it is an act of racism. The problem is, the damage is far greater if it was planted to spark outrage than if it was one racist idiot in bumfck Alabama.
