Ouch! Something tells me that those are not professional statue removers, and they may not even be insured and bonded.
Uh oh...other way, other way....
Did you see that? The wind just changed direction on me! Sorry about your head.

That statue deserves its own statue

It would be ironic if this guy passes...and they build a statue of him.
ETA - I hope he lives...for his family’s sake.

Stonewall Jackson will meet him at the Pearly Gates and flank his arse straight to hell.

They should build it on a big hinge and ceremonially topple it every year on the anniversary of his death.

Saw it early on, but did not keep watching. Was thinking that was going to happen. Police nowhere in site and the Mayor has blood on his hands now.

they were so blinded with hate they pulled the statue down by a rope w/o clearing the area first. I mean stupid is what stupid does.

These people make me sick. History, good or bad, is not to be forgotten. Believe it or not our country was built on certain things. Learn to overcome and learn from history. Not destroy it. These people are acting like babies. Animals. Not one frick given what happens to them.

He looked white.
A white guy actually pulled the statue down. ( you could only see his arms). It hit a black guy in the head.
white guy might be kicked out of BLM.

Yup. This is the epitome of the "Play stupid games..." analogy. This guy was at the wrong place, doing the wrong thing at the wrong time. And he's either gonna be playing dominoes with Georgie soon, or drooling out the side of his mouth and shitting in his pants the rest of his life.
But hey. Friendly fire's a bitch when you're waging war against the systemic & institutional racism against pieces of marble.

And that large person hitting the statue with a hammer. Is that manslaughter for them if he dies?

Yeah, I didn't notice the black guy hitting the legs of the statue with the sledge. So it was a team effort. I dont know if they would be charged since it was an accident.
This happens with trees occasionally, but they were officially committing a crime when it happened, ...so i guess well just see.

If that guy didn’t have an open mind before, the statue opened it for him.
