We can’t even have messages now? Damnit.

You can have my (no message) when you pry it from my cold, dead hands.

Look no oil means no spandex, which means no yoga pants. I cannot live in a world without yoga pants.

Yes- I get you message [ON] off.
Many screamers doth protest evil oil from their iPhone comprised of mostly petroleum products and created through gas/oil energy.
Anyone notice that Joe didn't connect the dots of why he's anti-oil? Scranton and its oily rain? Dude is fricking lost, and like others have pointed out, that's the best you get after a week-long nap.

We will have to do without cheap, readily available energy. The American people will be put through hardship and will bear the cost of the shift to wind and solar. Energy companies will shift the cost of the billions of dollars that they’ll have to spend to convert us to wind and solar to the consumers. People will also be forced to buy electric cars and renovate their homes to make them work with these energy sources. I’m sure the liberals will say “the government will provide help for those who need help to buy a new car or renovate their home,” but that’ll just be paid for by the people, too. They talk about helping the lower and middle classes, but the lower and middle classes will be the ones who get buried for the sake of becoming “carbon-neutral.”

My hippie friends day hemp can be used to make all those things.
They never know how many millions of acres it would take nor how it will affect the supply and costs of food with farmland turning to hemp cultivation.
But it feels good to them knowing there is a natural alternative to oil and gas.

How large (in acres) would a solar or wind farm need to be in order to replace the annual output of one coal/oil/gas fired power plant?
For example, Georgia Power has a gas fired plant that has a 700,000 Kw capacity, and a coal fired plant that has a 3,160,000 Kw capacity. How much space would have to be dedicated just to solar or wind to match one of those?

The thread is likely won here. Y'all can merely comment if you wish.

The greatest line after Joe said he'd shut down oil was by the moderator... "Why would you do that?"
