I’ve preached it for a couple decades now.

Socialists are born of envy and jealousy. They didn’t succeed in a system that requires the individual to excel. They chose the safety and lower expectations of the angry collective. They have the power of mob rule.

Getting picked last in kickball and never being asked to dance has yielded a bitter segment of the population hellbent on punishing the system that “hurt” them.

Spoiled children throwing tantrums and feeling important.
We have our work cut out for us.

Mediocre people hate successful people.

The socialists I know are all teachers, government workers, ngo employees, corporate hr, therapists, or service industry workers. The only ones that are white men are in the service industry, and nearly all of them claim to be gay, bi, or trans.

Socialists are easy to debate and debunk.

There was once (during Covid) a diversity conference where attendance wasn’t mandated by the institution, but you did have to register to attend virtually…

There was a session on “toxic productivity.” It was the single dumbest talk I have ever heard. Essentially, it was don’t just worry about your own work/life balance, it was don’t try so hard because other professors don’t have the same work/life balance as you and you’re making everybody else look bad. Therefore you are destroying your own life by working too hard and everyone else’s by raising the administration’s expectations. I was glad it was virtual because I was yelling at the rather effeminate like he was Ryan Grubb during the first half of the Kentucky game.
