I'm not suggesting we nominate a moderate, I'm suggesting we nominate someone who can convince moderates to vote for him and doesn't motivate huge blue turnout to oppose him

Good policies
Abrasive personality
Not great at setting a vision
Way too egotistical

I’d much prefer DeSantis moving forward.

Rand Paul could be labeled a moderate, even though he is mostly something else in tirely. He is not a far right republican so is he a moderate? I think he would make a good VP for Desantis and should eventually make a run for it.

If Tulsi walks back what she said about healthcare and guns could she run as a Republican? She would without a doubt destroy any Democrat that they offer, at least out of the ones that are popular right now.

I'll vote Republican . . . with the exception of Trump. I will never vote for him.

So let’s just say Biden v Trump in 2024. You’re more concerned with not voting for Trump than you are another potential 4 years of Biden? Whoa.

No. The media has already shifted to denouncing the MAGA movement as it’s bigger than Trump. If Desantis gets the nomination, he’ll get hammered with questions about whether he supports MAGA.

I’m done with Trump. I’ve been on the Trump train his entire presidency. But I have had about enough.

He had his time, he made his mark and I think he showed that fighting back can be effective.. but it’s time to move on.

I ain’t worried what a vocal few on this SEC football website’s political sub forum chirp about.

Trump ‘24
Desantis ‘28
DeSantis has to strike while the iron is hot. He cannot wait until 2028. The time for him is now.

Since that's what the media is parroting right now, I guess that's exactly what we should do. You know, since they've been so honest with us about everything these past few years

But, moreover, I think Republicans have much more serious, fundamental problems than Trump v DeSantis, to the point that it doesn’t matter which one is the nominee.

What do you think are the real problems facing America First beyond poor messaging and mass mail in ballot harvesting?

If we want to win in 24 yes. DeSantis is the perfect candidate for me but I love the guy. He would wipe the floor against any Democrat. Or we could run Trump and lose again and wonder how the hell it happened.
