I guess my question is will it be a Republican that the Governor names? Since the seat was won by a Republican im assuming it will be a Republican.

Gov McMaster will appoint an interim replacement.

I would guess the transplant Evette who just lost the primary to Wilson for governor. I would prefer Ralph Norman, but he’s not with the establishment so he probably won’t get a look.

August Primary… and runoff if necessary. The 11th and 25th if I remember correctly.
