After watching the Republicans squander their fleeting control of the House once again, it's becoming painfully clear to me that a future in the grips of previous Republican establishment leaders is bleak. Should Trump split and form the MAGA or Truth Party, a vote for them is a vote to dismantle the status quo. And to be perfectly honest, that's the next most attractive event to me after a potential Trump victory.
I think there was only one way this was gonna work out. Ron wait until 2028. We all unite behind Trump for one last hurrah. Ron playing ball as the VP nominee would have been unstoppable, and frankly ushered him into the chair for 2028 regardless of what happened. I'm not 100% sure that path isn't still viable but it really looks much less probable than it could have been.
The only other path to victory to me is the complete destruction of the Republican Party as we know it. Give me Trump or give me chaos.

there was only 450 miles of boarder fence ever in the plan to constructed and that would close all the gaps in the existing boarder fence. trump had 402 miles of that complete (90%) the day he left office and the other 48 miles were already prepaid for and funded. biden shut it down the very next day.
