Here is the problem right here. If we want to dictate how they fight Russia, maybe we should pay them. I am for not paying them and letting them fight as they see fit.

They misunderstood security assurance for security guarantee when they gave up their nuclear weapons. That was a terrible mistake on their part.

So if we would not have supplied Ukraine with money and arms(which Trump did as well) there would be no war?

I don't celebrate anyone dying.

You're unhinged.

Whatever happened to "national sovereignty" as a thing? Do you only apply that selectively?

Give us the damn Patriots.

How about no. They can't afford the number of missiles it would take to effectively use the system anyway.

And neither can we for that matter.

What is the percentage of possibilities that this whole thing is a leftist plot to significantly weaken the forces of the US and NATO by taking their time in order to use up strategic stockpiles of weapons, while Russia builds up theirs?

On one hand, Ukraine is really annoying in this regard in a way that probably sours everyone on their efforts.

On the other, Ukraine using our tendencies to leverage support needed for their war is understandable.

If the US wasn't so invested in control and influence, this argument would have no weight.

The NATO countries are retooling as fast as possible for a major war with Russia as we speak. The US has been providing the bulk of the arms. These were not strategic stock piles. For the most part we cleared our junk drawers and closets of arms and gave it to the Good Will essentially. Keeping up aid to Ukraine buys NATO more time to prepare and hopefully deter Putin from even thinking about challenging Article 5. If this is a leftist plot...its a dumb one.

Every penny we offer comes with strings. I dont see how anyone could support feeding a war.

Its cowardly. We pay for influence, let other peoples young men die.

Anyone notice something glaring?

Ukraine uses US Missiles and hit what they aim for.

Israel uses US Missiles and hits what they aim for.

Hamas, Houthiis, Hezzbollah, Syria, Iran launch hundreds of missiles and can't hit shite.

Iran needs better programmers.

Its homegrown Ukrainian drones thats hitting the Russian oil refineries. What really glaring is how bad Russia's air defense is performing.

Is that why the bill includes 23 billion to replenish the junk stock piles?

Drones are a problem for everyone and air defense aren’t equipped for small drones

I assume you meant not....Russia's is especially not well equipped relative to the technology other nations have to detect them.
