so it seems that massie was all in for the

democrat's, never trumps and the "i voted for trump 3 times...but" crowd
what's left for them now? i've never seen them as openly defiant after a defeat like this. typically they disappear, create new profiles, lay low and live to fight another day.
now all they have is hoping iran gets a nuclear bomb, cuba launches a drone attack on miami or maybe someone tries to kill trump again.
maybe they'll get lucky and iran will sink a carrier with one of their ski boats!

Massie went from principled libertarian during COVID, to GOP leadership lapdog under McCarthy, to anti-Trump Epstein obsessive in 2025 after tweeting about that issue a whopping three (3) times in the decade prior. The nail in the coffin for him was voting against OBBB in 2025 because, according to Massie, it did too much to secure the border.
Trump mercilessly trashed Massie in 2020–calling him a “disaster” for America and Kentucky and saying he should be thrown out of the GOP entirely—but Massie easily swatted that away and won 81-19, so you can’t say he only lost because of Trump. He went toe-to-toe with Trump on COVID in 2020 and won overwhelmingly.
Massie lost because he went from being perceived as a quirky but lovable nerd who seemed to genuinely believe everything he said, to looking like a clout-chasing influencer who cared more about getting TV time with Democrats on an issue he clearly never cared about until five minutes ago than he did about representing his voters.
We’ll never know what caused the apparent personality change—maybe it was the death of his wife, maybe it was the McCarthy race followed by McCarthy’s ouster, or maybe it was a desire for notoriety or media acclaim and a lucrative podcasting career outside of Congress—but the drastic change was undeniable, as was the seeming lack of interest in much of anything happening in Kentucky.
Blame Trump, blame Israel, blame Epstein, blame the tragic death of a spouse, I don’t care. But you cannot just wave away 2020 Massie going face-to-face with the Trump machine and winning in a rout only to get smoked six years later.
Massie’s voters didn’t really change all that much, but he did, and they noticed."

The real reason Massie lost is because Mossad flew in to Kentucky and told Kentucky voters that if they didn't vote for Gallrein, they'd shoot their puppies.

I think this is fallout from Bill Kristol turning into a Democrat, thus confusing the voting public from re-selecting a principled conservative to run in the generals.

A “warm body” defeated him 55-45.
For a 7-term incumbent in a House district, that’s a straight arse whipping.
And you can’t lay that at the feet of Mossad, or Trump or anyone else. At some point you have to realize: he did it to himself.

Massie didn't lose because of what he stood for. He lost because he voted with the Democrats. He lost because of his media tour trashing Trump and the Republican Party. People got sick of his addiction to losing and typical do-nothing libertarianism.

I was hoping Massie would win last night, but does it really matter who wins anything anymore? What Trump has shown us in his second term is that he really is no different than past GOP presidents. Pretty much every campaign promise he made, he has failed to deliver, and he's done a complete 180 on several of his promises. Can a voter be upset that Trump has done almost the opposite of what he ran on? Or must we give him full on approval for everything. Hell, he could give amnesty to every illegal tomorrow and you weirdos would praise the move.

The “I voted for Trump 3x but” crowd are laughable. No one believes their stupidity BUT if you actually did vote 3 times for him and would even remotely consider voting for a Dem then you are a complete fool.
