Did you go pick up your trophy yet for being singled out as the biggest idiot on the rant for your baseball comments? There is a thread with your name all in it.

Again, Ukraine lost 20% of its homeland, and thousands of young lives to Russia. Assuming there is actually a military coup, even assuming it is successful (a horrendously dangerous situation in the case of a country capable of incinerating the entire planet with nukes, btw), how do you see that benefitting Ukraine?

Don’t act so stupid.

It’s never bad when your enemy is killing your enemy.

And yes the nuke thing is a danger, it’s always been a danger no matter which despot was in control in Russia.

Biden/NATO played this perfectly
Perfectly?
I guess that depends on your view.

Manipulating Ukraine into a proxy war with Russia? Weakening the USD and banking system as a reserve? Bringing us closer to nuclear armageddon than we've been in 60 years? That's about as perfectly played as Lyndon Johnson played the country during his time in the Oval Office.

You should look up the word "needless". It would help you.

You guys have a wild imagination if you actually believe all of this was orchestrated.

Chit happens. That’s what we are seeing here.

It’s fairly subjective, doc.

If it’s good for the Russian goose then it’s good for the Ukrainian gander.

Glad you’ve finally come around.

There are definitely Putin fans here. But their prevalence is over stated. Might be 3 percent of the board and not necessarily regular posters.

But anytime you see someone criticize Putin you may want to check the down votes. Seems many people support him and won't admit it

2008 - NATO inexplicably announces Ukraine & Georgia will become members. The Russian Body Politic responds that NATO in those countries would mean war.

2011-2012 - Russia states the U.S. government interfered “aggressively” in it's presidential vote. It claims Washington “gathered opposition forces and financed them."

2014 - the duly elected Ukrainian president is overthrown in a similarly funded and Western-backed coup. Russia takes Crimea in response, and Eastern Ukraine rebels against Kyiv.

2014-2021 - The Minsk Accords are signed to ensure ceasefire in breakaway Eastern Ukraine. Ukraine consistently ignores them, deploying military assets against civilians.

October 2021 - With evidence the West had used Minsk as a ruse to bide time for Ukraine to strengthen its defences, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that "if the Americans are genuinely prepared to support the implementation of the Minsk Agreements, this issue can be settled very quickly." Western diplomats and Zelinsky basically laughed and said f/o.

2021 - Zelinsky-Biden renew talks of Ukraine-to-NATO. The discussions are leaked to Putin.

2022 - With Minsk dead, Ukraine-to-NATO talks ongoing, and Russia massing troops along its border for months, the US/UK knew war was inevitable.

If you don't think this war was orchestrated, you are a true dolt.

March-April 2022 - Turkey mediates Ruso-Ukrainian peace talks. The UK/US aggressively scuttle them.

Again, if you don't think this war was orchestrated, you are a true dolt.

You do struggle, don't you?
BRIC is a tip of the iceberg response. BRIC's B&I are obviously soft attachments.

What is not soft is global realization that a fiat currency cannot serve as a safe reserve if the originating source shows readiness to weaponize it. We've shown our willingness to weaponize the USD.

What is not soft is global realization that a banking system (e.g., SWIFT) cannot serve as a safe repository if it shows a ready willingness to be weaponized.

Likewise, international systems unilaterally punishing people, and/or seizing citizen's assets (aka, theft) because they happen to live in a country opposed to the international system are acts observed and noted by every wealthy person on the planet. Those observations basically extend to every country not named America.

The trigger to those observations was ridiculously unnecessary.

I mean the thing about sovereignty is you get to make your own decisions about alliances, treaties, etc.
