Sorry, but I think most people who believe that "legalizing it" will make a major change in this country are keyboard warriors with no real-life experience in the drug world

Those are just childless dudes who want to be able to toke up at a city park while they stalk kids.

Tells you all you need to know about how many billions of dollars get spent on a super effective war on drugs, right?

The legalization you mention has not had enough time to show positive results. Please get back with us in 3 years. The positive trend will become apparent by that time.

I'd agree with that plan IF - and only IF - we ALSO say - there will be ZERO treatment allowed of drug overdose cases
- be careful out there!

Same stance I have on = "diversity is our strength"

it is only a strength IF you allow unproductive examples to go extinct - the quicker the better.

OTHERWISE you end up with a parasitic environment - which cannot sustain itself without some non-parasitic species to provide the food.

SOLUTION to the DRUG PROBLEM (from an old friend from 50 years ago) =

Set up govt sponsored facilities where you can go and get all the drugs of any kind you want ---- only stipulation is that you have to stay in there until you are sober enough to leave - and there will be NOT TREATMENT of ODs - you choose to die - you die.

Trust me, whitey, nothing will change. The fiends and the people that supply them will simply move on to something else.

This post is a criticism of the current policy.

NO, needs to be one more stipulation: If you wanna come hang out and get high, you need to be sterilized so that you can never reproduce, man or woman, no exceptions.

People will still hurt each other over drugs. People hurt each other over all sorts of tangible and intangible things.

The country would go down the tubes real fast, but everyone would be high and not give a crap.

Oh something will change. Even more money will come out of your check to help those addicted people because clearly it's not their fault they decided to take drugs in the first place and it's only right for us to keep them supplied.
