They're still counting the 17 year old in Orleans that died of Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy but tested positive for COVID-19 during autopsy

Who is they? Any idea which health system he died under?

OP made a gross oversimplification
quote:

“The intent is if someone dies with COVID-19 we are counting that as a COVID-19 death,”

He overspecified by giving an actual cause of death. Birx exact words are if you die of anything and are positive for Covid-19 then that is counted as a Covid death.

So you can say with 100% CERTAINTY that the numbers aren't being falsely inflated anywhere, intentionally or otherwise?

Holy shifting goalpost.

The original assertion was that a member of the Pandemic team stated that any heart attack of a confirmed COVID patient is listed as a COVID death.

Within ten posts it has changed to - "can you prove that not a single phyicisian or coroner in the entire country has violated internal protocol?"

Cause of death and contributory factors are relevant to each other.

If your underlying condition is exacerbated by the virus and that ends up killing you, you wouldn’t have died without being infected.

It’s relevant information but shouldn’t be considered the sole cause of death.

Get that reasonable medical interpretation out of here.

I never called him a liar.

I said he grossly misinterpreted what Dr. Brix said.

Which he did.

Coronavirus causes heart rates to rise an average of 25% in patients. This is why those with hypertension are facing serious issues, along with obese people. Heightened heart rates will often lead to heart attack. Therefore the Coronavirus was likely the cause of the heart attack

Louisiana Department of Health reported the death along with the Orleans Parish Coroner.

What would be the recorded cause of death if someone walks into their own surprise party and dies of a heart attack due to an undiagnosed heart condition?

Right, but the LDH isn't independently verifying COD. Orleans coroner and treating physician is making that call. That's why I'm wondering which system he was under. I honestly don't know if it was every reported.

Direct quotes from Dr. Birx from the April 7th Task Force update:

"So, I think in this country we've taken a very liberal approach to mortality."

"There are other countries that if you had a preexisting condition and let's say the virus caused you to go to the ICU and then have a heart or kidney problem. Some countries are recording that as a heart issue or kidney issue and not a Covid-19 death. Right now we're still recording it."

So are you arguing that coronavirus leading to low pulse ox which puts tremendous stress on all organs, including the heart, should not be listed as COD when it results in a heart attack?

Under your theory, there is no such thing as deaths due to drinking and driving because they are actually caused by blunt force trauma from the victim getting crushed in their own car.

AIDS patients never actually die of AIDS, either. Just some fungal superinfection. AIDS is a joke /s
