It won’t matter who the figurehead is.

As long as he lives, he will keep the job. He’s just a figure head. See RBG making judgements from hime. Dems are scum

Biden will never actually be the president. Just the figure head everyone sees as the president.

Is Trump not just a figure head too? I’m not anti Trump at all but I think it’s becoming more obvious how little power the president has if he’s not a part of the deep state

I say he resigns as soon as he is sworn in, and whomever the VP is is going to go for 12 years. Serve Biden's 4 and then go for two of her own.

The question is who will be making all the decisions while he is president?

Constitution does not permit that. Biden would have to serve for two years and resign after January 20, 2023 for the VP to get a crack at two full terms.

If Trump was just a "figurehead", at minimum, you wouldn't see his loose cannon tweets. Plus, the guy has spent 40+ years being his own boss with an ego to match. He's not just some pawn of behind the scenes handlers. Now, his power isn't absolute by any means (that's kind of the point behind our system of checks and balances). But he would be getting a lot more done if he were just a figurehead.

Joe on the other hand is old, senile and tired. He doesn't really want to deal with the day to day grind of actually being the POTUS. And after a nearly 50 year career almost SOLELY as a politician, he knows nothing else besides being controlled by special interest. He's happy to be the figurehead. Make a few "cool" videos. Rub up against young girls, etc. All while other people are actually in charge and telling him what to say.

Sort of, yeah. He's willing to step out of that role on occasion.

I don't think he completes his term before he is forced to step down due to health reasons. Maybe two years?

The ONLY one who could run, win, and then win re-election would be Harris. Say what you want about her but she's a fighter and knows what she believes in. I could see the same folks who voted for Obama voting for her. Anyone else and they get embarrassed in their first election.

A vote for Bidden is basically a vote for whomever he picks as VP.

What a mess the Democrat party has become.

Biden is a brain dead empty suit. Never intelligent to begin with but now you add the dementia and the result is a complete disaster.

Biden and his VP would be inconsequential. Pelosi and Schumer would be the real power in any Biden presidency.
