yeah that'd be one of the subcomponent the guy was worried about being bad enough to pull everything down
i think we can agree that mid-low 1's would be not-good

Can you link what he was saying? Because it doesn’t matter if they have low inventory because presumably they sold the product which counts towards C or they have a lot on hand which counts positively towards I.

Any reason this thread isn't in the financial board?

I'm thinking it will be under 2%.

i dont know why you would assume this, especially if you take a look at trends in manufacturer's orders, or shipments
it could easily just be that businesses simply didn't buy as much to resell as they did in prior quarters
I'm not really sold on the inventories thing for q3, and even if it turns out to be correct this quarter it'd probably be mostly transitory, given that personal consumption has been so steady
OTOH, come to think of it, i think i may recall inventories contributing a surprising amount on the upside in the early months of the year. if that's right, and we're due to mean-revert a bit there, that expected drop in inventories might make a bit more sense than i initially thought. would need to look that up.

What damn difference does it make to some o fyou as to what board a opic is on? Not everybody has time to read all boards. This is aprominent one that more people will see. I like reading about things I don't know and I would not have seen this on anothe rboard.
The things some of you obsess over is mind numbing.z
