So, Congress just followed the same globalist playbook as the UK and Canada

Congress just rammed through the KIDS Act….a Trojan horse for mass surveillance. GOP traitors betrayed their base by voting yes, but here's the real deal:

This "kid protection" scam will force you to ID-verify for everything online. Lobbyists want your REAL ID and biometrics not to stop predators, but to feed Palantir's tracking machine. Another 4th Amendment gutting so they can monitor your every click.

Mark my words: soon you'll need a facial scan to post memes or check email. Welcome to the digital panopticon where "protecting kids" means enslaving adults.

IMPORTANT CENSORSHIP NEWS:

The KIDS Act has passed within the House for the U.S. It received major bipartisan support with 267 to 117 votes.

This will change the internet as we know it. The KIDS Act is a package of around a dozen bills that pairs a revised Kids Online Safety Act with new age-verification, AI chatbot, and messaging rules. Forcing the entire internet to implement age verification checks.

The US government already has everything that’s in this bill on 95% of the population. It’s had my DNA since 1994 (military). Biometrics since 1990 (first driver’s license). What don’t you have to make an account with your email and a password for the last 10 years??? This is a bunch of nothing let’s be honest and just makes child predators a little more nervous having to give a tad bit more information.

If I can't get an ID to vote, how can I get an ID to get online?

Some have no idea the steps required to purchase a firearm in this country in many states. Its a constitutional right correct?

This is not about info they do or do not have. It's about regulating online speech platforms.

Please stop.

My phone is not connected to Apple or Google and I use all open-source non-tracking apps.

True, I can't stop my carrier from knowing my phone's location but I also don't need to bring my phone everywhere.

Hopefully the Senate shuts this down, but I'm not holding my breath.

I’m all for child safety.  I’m also all for parenting, supervising, and protecting kids – to include the two minors of my own.  This bill – HR 7757 - under the guise of “kids’ safety,” is just more government creating a vehicle for mass surveillance – ultimately leading to a digital surveillance state that leads to suppression of privacy, free speech, and punitive action against dissenting views - all under the guise of child safety. This is the first phase.  Pretty soon, everything you do will be tracked – and judged – by the government. All I hear about right now are complaints and concerns on this issue; my constituents are all for safety and protection; what they don’t support are large scale ID databases, Central Bank Digital Currency, data centers, warrantless surveillance, camera surveillance, kill switches in cars, etc.  There’s too much government in our lives and too many breaches into our privacy.

BTW – check out the “UK Online Safety Act,” passed a year ago this month in Great Britain, aimed at “keeping children from accessing adult content.” Well, surprise:  the UK’s now using it for “age verification requirements” for adults (who must upload their ID / do a facial scan) to use any social media. Worse yet, now the UK is cracking down on any dissenting views; in this case, IT apparently doesn’t like citizens’ criticism about Islamic migration overwhelming the country. Yes, they imprison people for political dissent there…

Our government ultimately will be able to attack dissenters and quash dissent.  Goodbye, First Amendment.

I was a “NO” vote on this last night.

It’s amazing what they can pass that no one wants or needs yet can’t ever pass what everyone wants or needs

I wish they would outlaw bots. The entire liberal platform collapses when the echo chamber driven by hundreds of thousands, it not millions, of bots is eliminated. Not to mention foreign influence.
