Apart from the forced "donation" of funds to the completely inefficient, wasteful and incompetent government, how did these Democrat politicians contribute to the economy? How the hell did they make that much money (I know Joe hasn't been in office since Jan 2017, but question stands)?
Compare and contrast the number of people employed--directly and indirectly--by Trump over the past decade, to those two losers' job creation record.
But also, never "misunderestimate" the ignorance of the populace re: basic economics.

That's not the top marginal rate, but it is damn near the top effective rate for that amount of taxable income.
And if you pay the top effective rate for your specific dollar amount, you are either virtue signaling or stupid.

I do. Really, come on? You know why people want to know what his taxes look like. For me I'm with you. I don't care what he paid. Come on early voting!!

How about I pay it cause I use turbotax and it doesn't take twenty minutes. It also does not effect my lifestyle one damn bit.

As a CPA, I can tell you they would not be paying 31% if they didn't know they would be releasing their tax returns.

How do a couple of b-grade lawyers and long time "civil servants" make that much money?
They must get nice tips on influence peddling.

What did Biden pay from 2008-2016?????
Posted on 9/29/20 at 2:53 pm to WhuckFistle
This was all obviously set up in advance.
They leaked this shite to the NYTs and had campaign shite ready to ship out and their tax returns ready to be released.
What a clown show

People who make 500k plus aren’t using turbo tax

So neither of them have not a single freaking penny of deductions?
They don't make any charitable donations at all?
Taxable income is after deductions, not gross income.

I question how public servants are making that much money in the first place.

Special interest donations in the way of keynote speaker agreements, shell corp businesses which provide nothing but take in cash from special interest, etc....

Where is all of Kamala's money coming from?

he returns show that Biden and his wife, Jill, reported $944,737 in taxable income in 2019 and paid $299,346, or a 31% tax rate, in federal income taxes.
Biden's running mate, California Sen. Kamala Harris, and her husband, Doug Emhoff, also released their 2019 returns Tuesday. Harris and Emhoff reported paying $1.05 million in personal income taxes and $1.19 million in total federal taxes on $3.02 million in taxable income.
This tells me that Trump is smarter than all of them. Somehow he figured out how to pay just $750 in tax.
Now who do you want running the country?
Stop spreading this lie. He paid $1mil in 2016 and $3.2Mil in 2017. The $750 was ADDITIONAL taxes to the millions paid.

No it isn’t. The top marginal rate is 37% plus a 3.8% Obamacare tax, so 40.8%. Effective rate is different and it’s silly to pay 30% on 900k income.

Now let's see how much total income was excluded due to tax avoidance law, such as their S Corp income.
