Why does JBE need labor day weekend data? Doesn't the last 4 weeks count for anything? These goalposts keep moving and I hate it

Thats exactly what i was thinking too. Lets get testing done after all the Labor Day festivities and see where we at about 2 weeks after Labor Day then i will decide which direction we go in.

Are you saying this is what you want, or this is what will happen?

Never mind. I saw your response.

Remember, the restrictions are just to stop the hospitals from being overwhelmed. Two weeks to flatten the curve. Just 2 weeks

I think he moves to Phase 3 and allows bars open at 25%. The truth is at this point if you own a bar and arent open its because you don't want to be. They are handing out the Restaurant Conditional Licenses like candy which in my opinion means this won't last much longer. You can literally put in a home stove and a $150 Emerils Air Fryer from Sams and they will give it to you. Almost everyone in Jefferson Parish is up and running. The real question is will Latoya subvert his orders to move to Phase 3 with some absurd made up BS. Both Jefferson and St. Tammany governments have requested to move forward. I would be shocked if we aren't back to Phase 3 by Friday.

When he announces phase 3, Destroya will announce that Orleans is staying in Phase 2 for another month “just to be sure”

Pressure is mounting. Several parishes have sent resolutions and people are still trying to collect recall signatures

He’s not opening bars after winning his 2nd judgement to keep them closed on 8/21 He may open up capacity at businesses / restaurants but I think that’s it, he will use Labor Day & hurricane as an excuse to stay where we are another 2 weeks

This is the only thing that is happening this week. Sad!

NC did 2.5

Which is really what Phase 2 was originally. They changed the definitions a month after the initial announcement. This is crazy town.

In short, they’ve found yet another way to extort money out of people.

Because he's looking for any reason to keep us in phase 2.
