My problem with doing this sort of thing at SCHOOL is that even something BILLED as "voluntary" can be SEEN as "mandatory." You don't run into that complication at the town library.
But, you are correct, it STILL involves tax dollars.
In that instance, the problem is "equal access." If you allow the firemen or the Baptists to read to kids, you have to allow the drag queens, too. If you want to exclude the drag queens (which I can see some wanting to do), you have to also exclude the Methodists and the sheriff's department.

Up to 11 pages of defacto defense of pedophiles and groomers while claiming not to defend pedophiles and groomers.
You will know them by their (defense of) fruits....
