My understanding(hearing things in passing) is that the original story was there was just one "hold out" but then I heard a news blurb today where they said it was several who had not made their mind up, whether they were leaning one way or the other.

Here is a CBS link to the story.

I think the jury is deadlocked on the charge they were going to find the defendant guilty of per the jury instructions. You can find the jury instruction in the case here:
News Site with Copy of Jury Instructions
Note the difference between the elements of murder and voluntary manslaughter starting around page 15. Now, why do I think they are deciding between the two charges and not between guilty and not guilty?
See this story:
The court had resumed session at 9 a.m. on Monday after a lone juror on Friday said Friday he could not " in good conscience" consider a guilty verdict against Slager and the jury wanted to continue deliberating.
On Monday, the jurors sent a note to the judge earlier Monday saying, "The majority of the jurors are still undecided and we would like help with the following questions."
The jury wanted clarification on why they were given an option of manslaughter. They also wanted definitions of "sufficient provocation," "imminent danger," "forethought" and "self-defense."
Story where the above quote came from.
They were given murder and lesser included offenses. One or more jurors were hung on the factors that could mitigate a murder charge. Again my opinion, but it is a matter of what the former officer will be found guilty of not if he is guilty or not guilty.

Just noticed the jury asked the Judge for "legal" clarification on definitions. Wonder why that is?

There's the issue. He was perusing.

You're overstating it big-league. But Swampy Donald's pick for Treasury Secretary used to work for Soros.
I haven't heard Alex Jones frantically exaggerate a narrative about that.
Jones continues to act like a sycophantic little lickspittle for Donald.

Should have went for manslaughter, this would be over with a guilty verdict!
