He made some homophobic remarks/jokes in the past. So, naturally, a vocal minority of insecure homosexuals decided to attack the Oscars until they either fired Hart or forced him to resign from his position.

What kind of smug douche feels good about themselves after accomplishing something like getting Kevin Hart to step down from hosting the Oscars over 8 year old tweets?
Who looks at that and thinks "man, I accomplished something huge today?" Do they honestly do it because they think someone would be offended that he's allowed to host, or do they to it to be the one that got Kevin Hart to step down?
I just can't wrap my head around the virtue signaling.
