Watching the Democratic Senators has made me want to personally volunteer for Republican support in the midterms. These people are insane.

I'm MAGA but this prosecutor is awful. She should not be asking open ended questions. That's what prosecutors do to victims. She should be asking leading questions to establish the holes and inconsistencies. That's what defense lawyers do to victims.
For instance, when Ford said she couldn't remember how she got home, that was the perfect time for 5 full minutes of leading questions:
You didn't go back in the house, right?
We know Mark Judge didn't drive you, right?
We know Kavanaugh didn't drive you, correct?
You said you spoke with Leland recently about that night. Leland didn't drive you home, right?
And PJ didn't drive you home, right?
Are you suggesting a concerned bystander saw you wandering the street? Or are you suggesting that someone from the party brought you home?
You raced out the front door. You were obviously traumatized, correct? You can't even remember how you got home?
Or even how you got there?
She needs to drill down on the obvious holes that SHOULD not be holes in an alleged traumatic incident like this.

They lost it as soon as they entertained the idea of allowing unfounded and uncorroborated accounts to be allowed a platform.
I think they should actually use that and explain to Ford that an allegation with zero evidence and zero corroboration from other witnesses cannot be allowed to derail the process because of the new precedent that would be set - that being an allegation is all that’s needed.

Senator Blumenthal just reiterated his belief that her not being able to remember anything is what makes her most credible.

Can we do an FBI investigation to every politician and go back 50 years for everyone? If any of them had a beer underage they need to be taken straight to the electric chair.
Better yet lets just release the names and details of payments from the congressional sex assault fund.
You would see folks scattering like roaches when the light is turned on.

I've been rewatching some of this.
This woman has been coached very well, but coached she is.
Hopefully, the Republicans have an ace up their sleeve. I don't believe her one iota, but she hasn't been challenged yet, either. Republican senators have got to be seething that she's not been nailed to the cross when there are so many holes in her story.

Do we think Kav has a righteous indignation monologue ala Clarence Thomas? Or would that be bad optics because he’s white?

Blumenthal needs to get metoo'd by a handful of young boys. You know it has happened, it just needs to be made public.

Blumenthal is the biggest wimp. What a pussy.

A couple of the dem senators have mentioned that liars are able to tell seamless stories, but we all know that's not true. Liars get caught in lies because they attempt to make up details. A good liar will do exactly what she has been instructed to do, say as little as possible and claim loss of memory when asked to provide details.

My Fear is that the Republicans simply used the prosecutor as a mouthpiece for their own inquiries instead of letting her actually do her job. The reason for this might be due to the limited time setting.
A skilled prosecutor doesn't ask pointless questions. They tend to know the answers before. I'm hoping she drops the "gotchas" soon.

Why is no one asking him about her lies about flying, or not knowing about the offer to come to her for an interview, let alone a cellphone?

I'd like to think the Rs are writing down her inconsistencies and then planning to come in off the top rope when Kavanaugh is up and call her out on things like the cell phone fallacy.

Blumenthal just said if Kavanaugh is confirmed he will overturn Roe v Wade and help usher on a dictatorial presidency.
What?
What?

She said she called the senator when the list of Trumps proposed Supreme Court picks were released and told her that she was sexually assaulted by Kavanaugh but she didn't get a phone call back from the Senator until after Cavanaugh was selected. That's very interesting

wait so K needs a FBI investigation to clear his name?
if we were in a criminal trial this these allegations would have been thrown out!

The NBC reporter asked her why all of the Democratic senators are insistant on believing her and at the same time refusing to believe Kavanaugh.
