What are you brave Gulf Coast boys doing to prepare yourself linguistically for the next round of Gulf Hurricanes ? Time to coin a new phrase ?
The Climatecane? The Climate Storm ? What do we call these things in our brave new world so that we can stay in line with our Progressive ideological cultural overlords?

Climate Phenomenon. Sounds scary with uncertainty of what is to happen.

Why does “climate change” stop abruptly at the Canadian border?

Ellis, where did you find that map/image?

Well, the fires are definitely man made so there is that. Otherwise, it’s all horseshite.

My questions is why do they not seem to care about cars burning, homes burning, businesses burning, etc. I guess they pretend that isn't bad for the environment.

Very interesting, are Canadian fires just not shown or are there actually no fires in Canada? Does Canada actually employ standard forest management practices?

Nancy said to call them, "Mother Earth is having a hot flash, PMS, and she's roaring like a hurricane."
The western wildfires are a colossal tragedy. Leave it to the Left Coast elites to use them for political spin.

Prescribed Burns - Mother Jones
Mother Jones is an obvious leftist publication judging by the other articles on the site. However this article about prescribed burns is very informative and light on the politics. Evidentially in CA is not too difficult to get a permit to burn private land but the amount of red tape involved in public land burns has made the process ineffective over the last decade. The article cites that 90k acres in Cali was intentionally burned ‘18 but experts say 5xs that amount is needed.
People don’t like smoke, I get it. The idea of not doing prescribed burns because it creates air pollution is idiotic. Nature intended for certain things to burn. Why not control the amount that burns in a particular year so you don’t have massive smoke issues every few years.
