hen was the last time Baton Rouge had a republican mayor?

BR has only had four republican mayors in its history.

Loyeau Berhel (1871)
Henry Schorten (1872-76)
Tom Ed McHugh (1989-2001)
Bobby Simpson (2001-2005)

Trump & Sid have showed that “some” urban male vote is vital to win elections nowadays as a republican.

It’ll be an enormous victory for EBR if Broome loses this!

And in all fairness, he was elected as a Dem and served his first 2 terms as a D. He didn't switch parties until running in 1996.

People who aren’t part of the minority or alphabet demographics are tired of being told they’re evil. People have had enough of the shite that’s slowly eroded this country for the last 30+ years and especially ramped up in the last 16 years. They’re fed up.
