I'd guess public sentiment is probably about 60/40 in favor of us supporting Ukraine in at least some capacity
Even among the republicans that think we've done too much and shouldn't do more very few would have been against funding for humanitarian aid only

Whether the US invades a country or not is not at issue here. What’s at issue is this poster saying that Russia is fighting a defensive war

Doesn't sound like a brilliant strategy. It sounds like Putin is letting Russia commit suicide.
And to top it off it was counter productive if NATO is what Putin is worried about. Within a month or two of the invasion two of his Nordic neighbors decided to join NATO to help protect themselves from what's seen as Russian aggression.

We wouldn't be talking about this war if Obama didn't setup a puppet govt in Ukraine and press for NATO entrance. That decision has cost us billions in war support, and resulted in war with many casualties.

I’m not blaming you personally, I’m pointing out the absurdity that we can put Ukraine on autopay yet somehow cannot do the same thing for our own military.
