It's not just because I'm biased, but the US Marshal Service could not function or exist under a private, non-governmental entity for several reasons. Neither could ICE/border patrol, although you might have an argument that border patrol could be better tailored as an individual state's governmental agency.
Aside from that, I say shut it down for as long as possible.

Museums . Most never will turn a profit, but we need them to remember our history.
Library. I doubt most libraries turn a profit.
Military, police forces

I’m a cartographer with USGS, no private sector company could do what we do at the scale we do

There's probably one area where government needs to move in and replace the private sector - prisons. Private prisons are predicated on being full to make money. Bad, unconstitutional incentive.
100% disagree. The private prisons don't decide who gets sent to prison or for how long. They just provide the beds, the bars, the fences, and the 3 square meals a day. Judges aren't sending convicts to prison to make some kind of quota. That's absurd. If anything, I wish they would have some kind of quota to sentence people to prison instead of the endless revolving door of justice.

Sure they could. They would hire you and your colleagues and do an even better job.

Postage and package delivery- USPS sucks arse. Losses billions. FedEx, UPS, Amazon so much better
Those private companies are successful in part because the USPS subsidizes them. Without the USPS, your amazon package will never make it to your mailbox at #1 BFE Lane in the middle of nowhere.

It wouldn’t be cost effective, every GIS company uses our data in their for pay services but to generate the data at the scale we do is more than a private sector company could do. I’ve done what I do in the private sector and fed, I don’t think you understand exactly what we provide

None of these listed are true. It’s just that the government has the resources to organize and fund these large scale operations. The government cannot do anything better or more efficiently than a private company could be clause the nature of bureaucracy doesn’t hold individuals beholden to outcome. Folks in government positions are not compensated based off of outcomes. They get a paycheck irregardless of performance.

Our military is a woke joke now. The left has ruined it.
Set that aside.
The military would be infinitely more efficient and effective if run privately ie Blackwater.
The rules and sheer bureaucracy dictate that the waste and weapons procurement process would be unfathomably more effective absent the dead weight and political elements inherent to the current system.

Would Blackwater be susceptible, without obstruction, to oversight by entities associated with any duly elected officials? Would there be any oversight access “by the people?”
