Football revenue pays the bills for almost every other sport. Some athletic departments donate money back to the school’s general fund for academics. These jackasses are killing the goose that laid the golden egg. And they’re going to find out the hard way.

They will cut funding to other athletics not the useless SJW professors. We need to quit giving loans for social science degrees. Only offer loans for mathmatics, engineering, natural sciences and trade skills.

That would be a start.

I’m happy universities like Auburn and Alabama will definitely go under without football.

However, it will take much more than that for universities like Harvard, Yale, and LSU as they are much more than just some place to play football.

I’m hoping I don’t have to chose between college football or having blm bs shoved down my throat. I may have to abandon my favorite hobby.

It's no choice imo. Our country is more important than my hobbies.

The athletic association also donated $4.5 million to UGA’s general fund as it has done annually for the last several years.

It's time America stops worshipping sports. The amount of money in sports is disgusting and it's way more it should be. Time to re-prioritize. Get outside and find new hobbies.

If the feds would quit bankrolling a lot of these fricks the shite degree departments that seem to be littered with the Marxist ideology would see a significant decrease I would assume.

Perhaps this would help?

It’s amazing to me that these people like Brees, the sec, etc.... don’t see what BLM has become. It’s an anti American group that obsessed with destroying everything that makes our country great. The BLM movement is the ENEMY of the USA must must be dealt with quickly and harshly.

that is only to AD department in ticket sales. You can just about write off all other sports as Football pays their bills.

Local economy takes a $50 million direct hit to small business owners.

Some people just cannot think things through. Please no longer claim that you are from Calcasieu Parish. You are an embarrassment to it

That’s just an ignorant statement. High profile athletic success is linked to larger freshmen application pools, increased income from licensing and more alumni donations to general campaign funds, not just athletics. I knew a guy who worked at USCe when Spurrier was there, and their licensing income stream over the next year was significantly impacted by whether or not they beat Clemson. And that was just one game.

I know all that. I said short term.
