That’s millennials. Gen Z doesn’t really drink much. Those that do drink, pretty much only sip seltzers or cheap lite beer. Gen Z has largely been priced out of social drinking, or really social everything.

Fair enough. I often unwittingly place early GenZ in with late Millennials. That's my bad.

This faux rage against Canada is ridiculous and disingenuous. We should get along with them instead of shite stirring

It’s okay for other countries to hate Americans and boycott our stuff. Only Americans need to be open minded and inclusive

Sure escalate it, we would all love to pay more for lumber and aluminum, Iron, steel, gold and copper. Beef, canola oil, baked goods, cereals, fresh vegetables, fruits, and processed foods, Vehicles, trucks, tractors, and auto parts, plastics, pharmaceuticals, and paper products. The American people are all Billionairs we can afford it.

I think there should be no tariffs between Canada and the US for any products

I think it's time to remind Canada, they need to U.S. far far more than the U.S. will ever need Canada.

Their economy is in deep trouble.

I think Carney knows Canada is over due for a massive recession.

He needs their housing market to collapse.

The fact that Gen Z and others are not drinking as much is reason for concern, especially the millennial an Z who desperately need alcohol

God forbid I should be able to find a bottle of Weller Reserve (green label) at the liquor store. Have not even seen one of those for a couple years now. Much less a bottle of Weller 12 or Antique. I mean Jesus, i would like to try those at least once in my life.

Booker is a decent bourbon, but Jim Beam is a trash tier export brand.

Demand for alcohol is at a 90 year low.

But seems like a good opportunity for an anti-Trump narrative.

Canada would have a lot stronger case if they had not had (and continue to have) many tariffs on US products for many years.

They could have chosen to drop those, but they did not.

Thanks for the links.

So that is where all the allocated bottles have been going...

The MSRP is $60 for Weller 12. That price is 3x that.

Still a ways to go, but honestly I doubt demand will drop that much for "the good stuff".

Supply and demand rules. Just the way it is.

I would like to at least be able to buy a bottle of the green label at the MSRP price.

But i guess i will just have to keep drinking Knob Creek.

I don't think anyone has a problem with Canada.

Just their current bat-shite crazy far-left leadership. Much of their population also fits into that self-destructive mindset.

Normal Canadians are just kinda in the crossfire.

Yeah….anyone that would pay that sale price for Weller12 is a moron. Retail is $60-70. I got my last bottle for that recently. Anything north of that is way overpaying.
