Nope. No president ever has been allowed out of the whitehouse to pursure other matters.

Sometimes the job requires more attention then the golf game. Did he not just play a round a couple days ago? He is getting on the course at least once/week.

An effective leader can multitask and run things the way they need to be run.
The Obama problem is that things run him. He is also behind the curve and has to react to events on a daily basis.

about the worst thing he can do is leave a trail of divots on the fairway. that's inconsequential compared to the damage he could be doing.

In all honesty, what would be different if he was at the office? He cannot control most of what is going on and that which he can control normally ends up bad.

i pretty much agree with this. golf is the least of obama's problems. his poor selection of advisors, and bad policy are not due to his choice to golf every 2 weeks.
