You actually assume I have a family to support? Why do you think I'm on here for so long? It's just me, myself and I. No wife, no kids, no one to really care for outside of my parents, sister, brother in law and nieces. So I have a lot of free time.

It's too late for me anyway. I'm almost 35, an old man by a lot of women's standards. Plus I can't help but be attracted by youth. Not really interested in any women who is 30 and has hit the wall. Yet I doubt many women in their 20s will have any interest.

2. I was just able to take a whole weekend off for the first time in a couple of months. Taking a day off during the week just puts me that much further behind. I’m not punishing myself like that.

In businesses where many females and males are employed, it would be difficult for half of your workforce to disappear for a day. That sword cuts both ways.
A job like mine would be particularly amusing though, as we have 17 people that report to my facility... only two are women, and they're office personnel who handle dispatch and billing. Their jobs would probably be easier that day but the loss of floor production would just cause all the men to have to work an extra day to make up for the "protest" day.
Hard pass.
