Too late now.
Should have done it 10 days ago.

I always figured Maness was using this to see if a campaign in the future would be worth it. Even he knew he wouldn't win this one.

I guess this is a trial run for Maness to get his name out.

Republican and Democrat alike say they hate career politicians. Yet the race is down to Cassidy and Landrieu

If Cassidy and all other Republicans would drop out then Maness would win.

Seems selfish of Cassidy.

Yes, lefty, Cassidy should drop out so that a newcomer to politics can unseat Mary Landrieu for the US Senate.

Just go vote for Landrieu and quit acting as if you care what republicans do.

Yes, lefty,

Everything is DNC vs. GOP to you, and that's how they want it. Must vote for one lizard to get the other one out, etc..

So you're saying that long-time politicians are better than people who haven't been politicians? How consistent are you on this belief?

Not very is what I'm guessing.

I'm voting for McMorris, the libertarian.

There are voters who would switch from Manass to Landrieu?
Really?

How exactly would that work?

Funny.

Then Mary could get another term because the GOP put the worst candidate against her once again.

Absolutely fricking not. Mary would win without a runoff if he did.

No, she wouldn't. However, I would love to see how you reached that conclusion.

Why would people vote for Cassidy but not for Maness?

The question moreso is why in the hell would anyone with sense vote for Mary.

I really wish Maness had a chance to win this. I think he would be solid candidate in congress

He would win if Cassidy informally dropped out and three his support behind Maness.

Manness officially dropping out now would only help Landrieu. Too late to get him off the ballot and if he officially withdraws, his votes are not counted in the totals, making it easier for Landrieu to win outright on the 4th. And the later he withdrew, the better for Mary.(Many people will not realize this, and seeing his name on the ballot may well vote for him in round one to show support, assuming they can still vote for Cassidy in December.)

Cassidy is a linguine spined Rino, although that's 1000X better than Ms. Piggy. I hear the "Maness is a Democrat plant", please let everyone know the facts about this, other than speculation. Cassidy was a Democrat not that long ago. People are tired of weak kneed opposition to Democrat cut throats. I'm not saying you're not correct I'd just like to know why this is being thrown around. BTW, I don't like Cassidy but will run to vote for him in the runoff.

Where does the majority stand if it's between Cassidy and Maness?
