If we’re not gonna trust Iran with nukes I don’t know why we’d trust Israel.

The better analogy would be do they want to be Russia without nukes
ETA - And the outcome of Russia not having nukes is they wouldn't have invaded Ukraine if they didn't because the NATO countries would have crushed them for it. Maybe if Israel didn't have nukes they'd stop being aggressive and starting wars with their neighbors.

The entire triggering factor for Israeli "aggression" you speak about, is Iran and their proxies. Period.
For that reason, the US wants them gone. A problem for Israel is a thorn in our arse across the board.

Do you really think Iran will stop pursuing if Israel does this? I mean they have stated multiple times they aren't pursuing a nuke but the evidence doesn't really support that.
