Right now the taxpayers are on the hook for this farce and all of its associated costs.
When this woman is proven an abject liar, should trump send the bill to Feinstein et al and make them pay for it?

It’s because most all of the legislators are from the court system and those lawyers just can’t see anything wrong with the public paying for their profession....

I'm seriously curious if any democrat has gone, or is willing to go, on record to say what, if anything, should be the consequences for this woman and anyone who has put her up, if (once?) it is established indisputably that this thing is 100% bullshite.

They have immunity for any actions taken in discharging the duties of their office and you can count on that being applied very loosely by their peers, friend and foe alike. They are above the law.

This is a big part of these problems... it doesn't cost the initiators anything. There is 0 risk for them.
