That’s the other thing that stands out. This guy fired one singular shot and bounced. It doesn’t fit the established pattern of these events. I’m not buying that this guy had so much hatred for CK that he killed him and spared his supporters. These guys never stop killing until they are killed themselves. I almost suspect that his rifle jammed, possibly due to its age and he chose to bail. Remember the FBI did say they found the weapon with the spent cartridge still in it

I think thats more so because he didnt cycle the bolt because he took his shot then ran. Reports coming out saying he was “obsessed” with Charlie.

Absolutely, raised my suspicions as well.
It tells me someone else placed the rifle for him to use.
His actions after the shooting contacting associates was to alert them he was going to be caught, he was trying to give them plausible deniability.
