I’m leery of most vaccines…but shingles and meningitis are two that I’d take.

Old school vaccine, not RNA. It is a weakened virus.

My paternal grandmother’s sister had shingles once. She is my only family member who ever had shingles as far as I know. My grandparents and parents lived well past 65 and never had shingles. I am just past 60 now. So far, so good. I’m counting on good genetics and God’s grace instead of this vaccine.

She did get the wuflu vaccine so really hoping to learn one day if that helps with breakouts or not.
According to my doctor, the jabbed are the ones that she is seeing in her practice with shingles.
She also didn’t push me to get the shingles vax once I said I’ll never get another vax again after all the lies from big pharma that are being uncovered.

Yeah, the test for meningitis is brutal.

I guess find out if it actually work, unlike the covid shot

My old man got the shingles in the face. He had never missed a day or work in his life, and was bed ridden for 3 weeks. Every nerve ending in his face on fire. No medication to make it better. He looked like a stroke victim for a couple months. Didn’t know if he’d recover.
And supposedly now that the chicken pox vax is so widespread, the lack of exposure to chicken pox will make shingles outbreaks worse. Ironic.
I’m too young to have to worry about it, but I will take the vax very seriously.

If you've had Chicken Pox, then you are susceptible to Shingles. Ask anyone who has had Shingles about how it was and you'll be going to get your Shingles vaccine. Or take your chances.
When I was young, parents would have Chicken Pox parties so the kids got it when young when it is very mild. When people got Chicken Pox when adults, especially older adults, it was very ugly.

I'm in the "do I" zone. I want to get it, but I'm 64 and it's free once I turn 65. Have to pay right now.

The nurse was asking me if i had the shingles vaccine yet and if not I should get it. I said no way & when my doctor came in the room we had our conversation.
Why would you think doctors aren’t pushing vaccines on people of all ages? After the past 2 years you should realize this is the new norm…

So, standard health insurance doesn't cover it?

It hits pretty hard for a day or two.
But shingles suck far worse.

So you admit you have been vaccinated and are still here to talk about it. Amazing. Vaccines actually work.
I think in this case they might have caused autism

she has regrets about all the vaccines my little nephew got bc she realizes it’s way too many at one time and so many different shots in the first year or two
No doubt he will develop Autism now as vaccines are the primary cause of it. Just be patient and work with him the best you can, thats all you can do.

you don’t want shingles.
What are the symptoms of getting it w/o the vaccine verses the side effects of the vaccine and still getting it?
That is what I thought when getting the COVID vaccine back in April of 2021, and booster in October of 2021, but now I have doubts about that entire vaccine and will not get the boosters. I only did the first shots to try to get back to normal quicker, but of little help that was with big brother keeping mandates and seeing rates stay high. Luckily, every time I thought I had COVID, I tested negative.
Now on the flip side, I am seeing an increasing amount of people in their 40-60’s dying. The truth will never truly come out if this vaccine related, post COVID complications, drug abuse related, or natural causes.

Get it. You can read horror stories on any vax. I took the covid vax but regret it. However, the shingles vax has been thoroughly trailed. Get it.

I got both shots and no symptoms other than mild swelling of the arm.

Did you get it? If so, how we're your side effects?

Shingles was the 2nd most painful and frightening experience of my life. I’m not jabbed but definitely plan to get the vax. Just haven’t gotten around to it yet. We idc if I feel like holy hell for a few days after. It beats the hells fire of shingles spreading up to my face. I got lucky last time and caught it the same day it started so the meds kicked in before it got to my face and eyes but I’ll do anything to avoid that pain and possibility of shingles in my eyes from ever happening.
