So they are putting the blood clot in the shingles vaccine?
They already have the mRNA in shingles shots. They began clinical trials this year.
After everything they lied about the past 2.5yrs, would you believe big pharma if they denied having mRNA in your shingle vax?
Knowing it’s already in the clinical trials, I sure don’t trust them not pull some frickery on patients.

Isn't it the same vaccine as chicken pox? Seems pretty tested compared to other vaccines.
I've seen enough shingles patients to say you should avoid it if you can. Sometimes it's years of pain or worse.

So you admit you have been vaccinated and are still here to talk about it. Amazing. Vaccines actually work.

I got shingles a few years ago. Started as little rash on my forehead. I had started wearing a new ball cap and thought that it’s an allergic reaction. In two days the right forehead was covered in rash. It’s Saturday so I go to the doc in a box. He immediately diagnosed me and said if it reaches my eyelid immediately go to the Eye Foundation in downtown Birmingham.
Well, 2 hours later it had and so I did. Put on Valtrex and prescription drops.
The end result is I have 20% permanent damage to my right eye. Still having strange nerve sensations on right side of my face. I can rub above my lip and feel it on my eyeball still.
The nerve pain on my face and scalp during it was almost unbearable. And it formed a line right down the center of my face for the lesions and blisters.
And from what I researched, once you have shingles you’re more susceptible to get it again. I did not get the Covid vaccine but I will get the shingles vaccine.
Stress can trigger it. I had a lot going on with my mom with Alzheimer’s and pressure at work.

roofy you with mRNA.
mRNA is to conservatives as assault rifles are to progressives.
Progressives are afraid of scary looking gun they don’t understand and conservatives are afraid of scary sounding science word they don’t understand.

I got the shot with zero problems.

I admit I was vaccinated as a baby in the early 70s you fckg loon.
Have you been under a rock or just trying to deflect from the new mRNA technology in your feeble attempt to compare it to vaccines almost 50yrs ago??

Nahhh…. I listen to the man who invented the mRNA technology.
What a stupid fckg comparison. The science and the statistics are pretty fckg sound regarding the jab. Withholding medicine that was saving lives in order to to coerce people to get a social experiment injection has killed more people than covid ever did.
FYI… There’s no such thing as an assault rifle you moron.

Many fear this new shingles vaxx, Shingrix; not as much its former versions. I believe it was approved just four years ago.

I got the first one a few months back and I felt like crap for a full day plus some. I hope the second one isn't as bad, it's about time I believe

Shingles is a pretty shitty disease.
If you got the rash and it went away, that would be one thing.
But about 1/3 of the US will get it at some point in their life (side rant, I think the number is going up, it’s getting far more common, and I blame the varicella vaccine for children for this, but that’s another story)
Of the 1/3 that get it, about 1/10 of them will have chronic complications from it- namely a unique pain that is described as “hurting” or “itching” so bad that I watch people for months scratch through their skin. There are about four medicines that do OK for the pain, but some number also don’t really respond to it.
Another portion of folks gets it along the nerve that innervates the cornea, and it can actually lead to corneal ulcers that can lead to blindness (I say rare, but I see this nerve involved probably twice a year in different patients).
Shingles vaccines are Shingrix (~90% effective at preventing outbreaks at all) and zostavax (~50%). Shingrix is the one referenced above I believe- 1 dose now, 1 dose 2-6m later. The first one usually isn’t horrible. The second one, you’re roughly guaranteed to have myalgias and a low-grade fever for 6-24h.
I will get it when I turn 50
I would probably take it now if it were available. And by the time I’m 50 (I’m 34, I think) I think it probably will become similar to a TDaP/tetanus and be recommended once a decade or so. Either that, or we will stop vaccinating kids for varicella in that time (but that’s less likely. There’s more lives saved on the kid side (est ~100/y) than lost on the adult side, so you’re probably looking at another recommended vaccine in adults, and it’s a fairly good one).
For patients, I let them know what I know and what I think. They do whatever they want. Doesn’t hurt my feelings when we disagree. But if you are someone who has it along trigeminal nerve branch 1, I do sort of push on them a little harder if I think they don’t understand the fairly serious risk of going blind (and the dramatic inconvenience of seeing an eye doctor 2-4 times per week and putting drops in 2-4 times a day during the process, and then from personal observational experience, a generally more painful place to get it than the middle of the back).

new mRNA technology
So being around and studied for decades is "new" to you? The mRNA vaccines went through all the same clinical trials as other vaccines that you have apparently taken. BTW, when you took the vaccines 50 years ago, they weren't as new as you think.

You’d have to be a fool to get anything called a vaccine being peddled by big pharma.

and wise guys say they won't get shingrix because they might be in the 10% who get shingles anyway.
lol.
