If commonly "black" forms of music do not fit the mold of sheet music and annotation, then you do not do away with the sheet music but expand the education of music in general to include Jazz, Rap, and other forms of music that might fit in a similar mold than can be taught as a core course or even a major/minor...
It just seems like we are wanting to mold the world to all things black...

Within 10 years, universities won't teach anything. Every course will be entirely made up of students and professors sniffing each other's farts and talking about how heroic they are.
