No, it fricking doesn’t. Climate change could result in colder waters. It’s not a one-way itinerary.

which brings sharks closer to shore.

If a shark is leaving for warmer water, doesn’t that imply that the water he is leaving is getting colder? So what the frick are you trying to say?

I think you need to listen more carefully to the point of the entire video.

Sharks have been around for hundreds of millions of years. They help fuel my truck with their fossil fuel. Thanks sharks!

Conservation of seals etc increases shark food which increases shark population and then add an expanding human population and you have more contacts and more mistakes/shark bites.

Been around since before the dinosaurs.

I'd say they can survive damn near anything the climate brings.

Shark attacks were the big media sensation back in the summer of 2001. Well, until the Chandra Levy case occurred.

I’m going to say this every time this comes up.

You are still more likely to die in a car crash, don’t care if it’s electric, on the way to the beach than you are getting bit by a shark.

And I’m going off an assumption here. Pitt bulls are more dangerous to your child than a shark at the beach.

The entire point of the video is the fact there has been no increase in shark attacks much less due to "climate change."

There are more sharks in many places due to the ban on finning and protections for the larger species. Sharks gotta eat too..

Increases in shark attacks are due to increases in sharks food source resulting in a rise in shark population, combined with moratoriums on shark fishing.

I’ll add that numerous countries have realized that shark dives and feedings are big money. While not all shark tourism is ethical or even a good idea, It’s estimated that every shark is worth 1 million in tourism revenue. So they’re better off keeping them alive for the thrill.

More tourism attraction = more sharks
