Bro YOU started this digression with this insanity

quote:

They have a list of prosecutions that they’ll ONLY pursue if they win all or part of Congress.

Prosecutions are from the executive. The executive isn't on the ballot. I made fun of it by asking you to clarify what the frick that rambling is about, and you then pivot to asking me about crimes...when I never referenced crimes...only your terrible attempt at a point.

Prosecutions are NOT only from the Executive. "Peachmints" are prosecutions are they not, ?

They are not.

*ETA: this was discussed at length during that era and many (incorrectly) argued they were required for prosecutions of Presidents. I argued (correctly) this was retard logic. But it shows the two processes are different things (especially my side, which was right)

bullshite. Gotcha. They prosecute a case and if convicted the accused is removed from office.

You're not wiggling out of this one.

The House of Representatives then appoints certain members of Congress to act as managers of the trial, similar to “prosecutors.”

You have to consider that your perspective is that of a fricking lawyer, so you believe anything you twist with brazen wordplay is "brilliant" while normal people do not look at it that way.

When the facts arent on his side he tries to blind them with horseshite. The impeachment process is a prosecution, end of story.
